The Federal IT Security Institute (FITSI) is a 501c6 non-profit, certification body accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) under ISO 17024. FITSI manages and administers a role-based cybersecurity certification program for Auditors, Designers, Managers and Operators of Federal IT systems. By earning the Federal IT Security Professional (FITSP) credential, the candidate demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of Federal IT security management, operational, and technical control requirements and the best means by which to validate their proper installation and operation.
