Pratap Public School is run and managed by Rai sahib Ch. Pratap Singh Charitable Trust Society which was registered in June, 1964. The trust established its first school at Jarnailly Colony in 1975. The school, slowly yet steadily, made phenomenal progress. In 1985 the school was affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education for instructions upto class X Standard. It was upgraded to the Senior Secondary Level (10+2) in 1989.
