School of Law and Economy of China
chinalaw.wpia.uw.edu.plSchool of Law and Economics of China was established in 2018 at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, within the framework of the Polish Research Centre for Law and Economy of China. Its goal is to provide participants with comprehensive and practical knowledge in the field of Chinese law, economy and business (with some socio-cultural components too). The course starts in October every academic year. Due to pandemic the program is held entirely online. The School offers one-term interdisciplinary courses to students of all faculties, entrepreneurs and senior-level managers as well as representatives of state and local administration in charge of cooperation with their Chinese counterparties. School’s programme is designed to build up knowledge and understanding of the Chinese legal system, economy, culture and language. The curriculum will be based on the visits and short-term research fellowships in Poland, hosting: - Chinese professors of law or economy, - Chinese practitioners (lawyers, public officials), - experts on modern day China from Poland, Europe, Russia and the US. The visiting professors, practitioners and experts will hold seminars, lectures and workshops for students of the School.
