The Latin American Educational Foundation was founded by a group of dedicated men and women determined to ensure that future generations of Hispanics would have better access to higher education and make a better life for themselves. In its 70 year history, LAEF has awarded nearly $7,000,000 through 7,000 scholarships. Our recipients' successes are seen throughout the community. Our mission is to provide access to higher education for Hispanics in Colorado. Our vision is to advance the educational leadership and economic status of all Latinos to improve the greater community. LAEF is dedicated to providing students and their families the resources and services needed to make attending college a reality. LAEF is a one-stop center for information and guidance in navigating the college-going process. Our goal is to ultimately reduce the barriers for Hispanic and Latino students in attaining their college degree. Our Services Include: LAEF offers college planning and transition, enrollment and registration guidance, financial aid guidance, scholarship support, and career planning, Our services are provided in community and group forums, including workshops and presentations, as well as on a one-on-one and walk-in basis.
