Jacob's Ladder was created in 1991 specifically for gifted children who have an extraordinary ability to excel academically but come from situations that make it difficult for them to succeed or reach their full-potential. Jacob's Ladder is a five year, year round, highly structured academic and life-skill, mentoring and advocacy program with a 4-6 week summer residential program. Our Mission To implement a proactive enrichment program whose intent is: To aid and encourage children in grades 4-8 in reaching their potential so they will become leaders equipped to help others in similar economic and social environs. To foster the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of at-risk, gifted children. To provide support and information to the family unit. To offer guidance in planning for advanced educational opportunities
