At Lizellen La Follette MD, Inc., we offer women comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. Our goal is to provide each woman with the best and most personalized care possible. Serving women from Marin County, San Francisco, the East Bay, and beyond, we have labor and delivery privileges both at Marin General Hospital (MGH) and California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC). Dr. La Follette is also active with Novato Community Hospital and the Marin Specialty Surgery Center. Dr. Lizellen La Follette founded her practice on the belief that each woman deserves warm, attentive, and individualized care. She created an office that is bright, cheerful, and welcoming. As her practice grew, she saw the need to have providers join her who shared her vision of holistic, broad-minded women’s healthcare. Her team includes Jeanne-Marie Crowe, CNM and Jacqueline Sue Dela Merced, MD. Together they have formed a unique collaborative practice: they are the only all-women’s Obstetrics and Gynecology practice in Marin County. Recently honored in France for her visionary work in women’s healthcare, and for her support of the ‘Etincelle Montpellier Cancer Retreat Model’, Dr. La Follette is taking an active role in helping to bring this retreat model to the US. From June 2015 to December 2015 Dr. La Follette served as a medical advisor to Clue, a German-based startup developing a state of the art fertility app. She is currently an advisor to the March of Dimes and will be speaking at the organization’s 2016 annual Conference. She holds complimentary patient learning events at her practice once a month.
