The Montreal Group is a global forum of state-supported financial development institutions founded in 2012. Current members are the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC); Bpifrance; the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES); Caisse centrale de garantie (Morocco); Nafin (Mexico); China Development Bank (CDB); Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN); Finnvera (Finland); the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) and SOWALFIN (Belgium) The forum was established to encourage an exchange of ideas and best practices with the aim of assisting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME) with their business challenges.
