Vendors are offered and sometimes required, to take stakes and shares with developers and investors in the projects they are contracted to, making them part of the company formed to act as a vehicle to deliver the projects undertaken. This, from a development aspect, will reduce initial outlay costs and increase a sense of joint responsibility from all stakeholders.
