The Irish Tag Rugby Association (ITRA) was founded in 2000 when it brought Tag Rugby to Ireland for the first time. A member of the International Tag Federation (ITF), ITRA organises all year round Tag Rugby leagues and one day blitzes nationwide, as well as facilitating Ireland teams for international tag tournaments. Ireland will become the first northern hemisphere country to host the Tag World Cup when ITRA manages the tournament in the University of Limerick from 31st July to 5th August 2022.
