I believe strongly in the benefits that financial planning can provide. I just don’t think the current setup works very well for customers. Most firms charge too much for the service in my opinion and there is no way to tell who is really a financial planner with your interests at heart or a salesperson looking to sell you investments you don’t need so they get a fat commission. My goal is to make financial planning services available to people who are largely ignored by the industry today and help them make smarter decisions with their money. Here are some ways we are different than a typical financial planner. We put a focus on tailoring services to individual needs and having you pay only for the services you actually need. We offer a flat monthly fee option that covers the services you need. We will not sell you any products. We offer financial advice and will recommend products but won't sell products to you directly. In addition, we have no partnerships with any other organizations that do sell financial products. We receive no commissions, no kickbacks or fees of any kind from any products we recommend for your purchase. If we recommend a product it is truly because we feel it is right for you. We will work to construct an investment portfolio for you that is lower in fees and expenses so more of your money stays invested. You will get more personal attention. Unlike some larger firms where the target is 300 clients per advisor out goal is to have 75 ongoing clients meaning you will get more attention paid to your needs.
