Japan Association for Refugees (JAR) is a Japan-based non-profit organization supporting refugees and asylum seekers in Japan. JAR fulfills its mission by: - facilitating the needs of refugees and asylum-seekers to provide relevant legal and social assistance; - advocating for the rights of refugees and asylum-seekers through government bodies, local authorities and media relations; - advancing policy analysis and information-exchange on refugee and related issues to build more active and effective network with concerned parties and Non Governmental Organizations.
