SIG was founded in 2002 with the aim to provide European institutional investors with access to leading US-based alternative managers. The group is today a team of 17 professionals. It is headquartered in London, has a fully owned subsidiary in Frankfurt since 2005 and an affiliate in New York. SIG is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK and its affiliate is regulated by SEC in the US.
