Gerald and Leslye Woodard started Woodard Mercantile in 1991 at the little old elevator in Maize. Seven years later they moved to 4160 N Maize Road, into a new building with the desire to provide unique products in a great setting. Along the way they acquired 3 great boys: Gage, Grady and Gavin. Upon a growing business, they opened a second Woodard Mercantile store located in Andover, Kansas in 2017. At Woodard Mercantile, our goal is to make shopping an experience - not a chore!
