United Packaging Associates or UPA (pronounced You-pa) is a strategic networking trade association for individuals who work for or are connected to the packaging industry. UPA is dedicated to helping people in packaging meet the increasing demands and needs of a growing and thriving industry, through a variety of events including tours, interactive presentations, and shared learning activities. UPA is not a traditional trade association. We create highly engaging events where individuals in the packaging community can participate in honest and open conversations. We recognize that as an industry, when we engage together – we learn together. Our educational tours and networking events are designed to be both welcoming and inviting for packaging industry professionals. We strive to build connections with others who believe, as we do, in the great potential of packaging; individuals with varied expertise and experience, who may be at different stages in their career. Because we recognize that packaging is a highly collaborative industry, our focus is on building relationships. UPA events are designed to enable local and regional packaging industry participants to build these relationships in a noncommercial environment. Although packaging is a global industry, most industry professionals rely on their local and regional networks to help provide their customers optimal solutions.
