Define the end-to-end process and map out the deliverables from each step through the whole organization. This will be my research phase of the project. Analyze these steps in simple and concise language. For example, a process map can be created and examined for possible opportunities for efficiency gains or outsourcing. Implement proposed solutions for any process that is repetitive, time consuming, and especially simple. These redundant tasks can drain skilled employees and keep them from their core competencies. Measure the new process after its implemented with key performance indicators to fine tune and adjust as needed. This stage is typically performed in tandem with Analyze for continual improvement and efficiency gain.
