The Uganda Small Scale Industries Association (USSIA) is a not-for-profit business association of small scale industrialists in Uganda with a strong membership base of over 4,500 enterprises. USSIA is driven to support and equip small and medium sized enterprises especially the small scale industrial sector of Uganda for success and economic growth. USSIA was formed in 1979 out of the realization that there was a gap in the representation small scale industries that want to grow and become large enterprises. Since then the organization has grown to enormous levels. However, USSIA is still a grassroot based association representing small scale industries all over Uganda. USSIA’s vision is to be the leading organization in the promotion and development of small scale value addition industries as the engine of growth in Uganda. Our Mission is to enhance the development and competitiveness of micro and small scale industries in Uganda through quality services delivery and advocacy.
