Alex Seeds for Seed Processing & Derivatives (S.A.E) is one of the major oil seeds processors in the MENA region with a mega production plan located in the heart of the Borg El-Arab industrial zone, Alexandria - Egypt. It was founded in 2000 as a private partnership company owned and managed by its chairman Eng. Assem Ibrahim. In 2009, the company changed its legal form to become an Egyptian Joint Stock Company (S.A.E). The company has quickly achieved the recognition of both businesses and consumers as a quality manufacturer and a trusted supplier of oilseed products as Soya meal (Hi-Pro and Lo-Pro), soybean oil (crude degummed, semi-refined and fully refined RBD) and Soy Lecithin. The company has also entered the FMCG market through its subsidiary company Al Wataneya Soy Products to provide ultra healthy and extra affordable soy cooking oil such as Solo and Shatara. The Alex Seeds Co. is an ISO 22000, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and Halal certification holder since 2009 for its excellence in food, environmental and industrial safety.
