Hike it Baby creates opportunities and removes barriers to access so families with babies and young children can take their first steps outside. We believe all families have the right to connect with nature, benefit from spending time outdoors, and be inspired to a lifelong love of nature. Our efforts are focused on families with babies and young children. We encourage all families, including those that may not have experience or have felt welcome in the outdoors, to take their first steps outside. We acknowledge that families come in all different shapes and sizes and we define parenthood as any person who cares for a baby or child. We empower all families to build a lifetime love of the outdoors which will benefit the planet and all humans in the long run. Together, we are raising a generation to love the outdoors, and each other.
