We are a preferred distributor of construction materials, supplies, and equipment to contractors across Hampton Roads and the Mid-Atlantic region. Whitlock Brothers, Inc. began in 1934 as a paint contracting firm. After WWII the company did general contracting from 1945 into the 50’s, when an opportunity arose for the company to become a WACO Scaffolding dealer. In 1951, the company got out of contracting and strictly did scaffolding rentals and sales. As the company grew they added small construction equipment rental, introducing the area to many of the new types of light construction equipment that were being invented at that time. They continued to keep an eye on the ever changing market and continued to expand their product lines that by 1976 the company had fully moved into slab construction materials. Due to changing market demands and being able to read them, we eventually became a preferred distributor of construction materials, supplies, and equipment to contractors across Hampton Roads and the Mid-Atlantic region.
