The Volusia County Medical Society (VCMS) is a non-profit organization created for physicians (MDs and DOs) who practice medicine in Volusia County, one of the largest counties in Florida. There are nearly 400 Volusia County physicians who are members of the VCMS. One of 44 medical societies chartered by the Florida Medical Society, VCMS was started in 1902 to represent the interests of Volusia County physicians and provide informational resources to the medical offices and communities they serve. VCMS is dedicated to bringing the physicians of Volusia County into one organization, promoting the science and art of medicine, and fostering the common interest of our members and the public.
