Founded in 2001, Bryan Tracey partnered with industry veteran Todd Gemmell, who specialized in transporting meat carcass throughout Auckland since the late 80’s. Bryan Ayson joined Refrigafreighters as a director in 2006. The company continued to grow quickly with several acquisitions and continued high quality excellent service. Bryan Ayson and Todd Gemmell sold their shareholdings in Refrigafreighters in 2012, and since then Glenn O’Sullivan and Bryan Tracey joined together to steer the company to what it has become today, offering a high-quality service throughout New Zealand. Refrigafreighters is a family-owned business, and first started operating with two trucks and a team of two carting carcass meat throughout Auckland and Northland. Through high quality service, reliability and a can-do attitude, the company and fleet continued to grow as opportunities presented themselves which created expansion across New Zealand. Over the last 9 years through a combination of continued business growth, acquisitions & continued investment, the expansion and upgrading of the fleet, Refrigafreighters has become one of New Zealand’s top temperature-controlled transport, storage and distribution companies.
