Chengdu University of Technology was established in 1956 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. It is a state key university co-administered by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Sichuan Provincial Government. CDUT is based chiefly on science and engineering, with engineering, geology, energy science, resource science, nuclear technology, environmental science, chemical engineering, materials, electronics, machinery, information science, and management science as its advantages and characteristics. CDUT offers 74 undergraduate majors and more than 100 master's and doctoral programs. The university is included in the 'Double First Class University Initiative' designed by the central government of China and recognized as a Chinese state Double First Class University.
