As a writer and editor (and photographer, page designer, and more) for newspapers, I covered topics from community events and nonprofit fund-raising events, to murder and scandals on the outskirts of the big city. As a professional creative type with a get-it-done attitude, I had significant roles in launching three media businesses, one a daily print and online news provider in a top-20 market.
