FRS is a printing business owned by the Sayili family. Sayili family are pioneers in printing. Their roots date back to 1950, when they started a local newspaper called Ufuk Gazetesi in Bandirma, a town south of Istanbul. After moving to Istanbul in 1960, the family started a printing company called Sayili Matbaa. The new company's big break came in 1965 when they received a calendar order. Based on this order and following orders, Sayili Matbaa developed a calendar brand in 1971. This was the beginning of "Intercal". Despite their long, succesful run with calendars, this demand eventually dwindled. So, they focused their business on today's demands.
