The Growling Frog Golf Club Inc is a social golf club operating from one of Melbourne’s finest public golf courses, in Donnybrook Road near Yan Yean. In our twelfth year, with approximately 150 members, we run competitions on Saturdays and Public Holidays. The Pro-Shop also runs a competition on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. We have trophy events throughout the year, including Monthly Medals on the first Saturday of the month from February to September, and Club Championships in February. We have completed in the VGL Pennant League for ten years, winning three Scratch Pennant Flags (Division 5 2007, Division 4 2012, Division 3 2014) and two Handicap Pennant Flags (Division 8 2008, Division 7 2009). The Club also organises regular social events for Members, including an end-of-season Presentation Day.
