Florida's District 20 is crying out for a leader who has experienced the plight of its citizens, embodies the specialized knowledge of how to make healthcare accessible and implement an economic development strategy that places families first. As a daughter of this district, Sheila's passion for the district, life and professional experiences has prepared her to serve the community at this time. She leveraged her legal background and transition into healthcare regulation. She began advocating in Washington DC, walking the halls of Congress letting every U.S. Representative and U.S. Senator know our community needs help. She has been an advocate now for more than 10 years. As a healthcare executive, Sheila has seen first hand how pay inequality, the lack of economic opportunities and job skills training have devastated our community. Small business owners and minority entrepreneurs are consistently blocked from taking a seat at the table.
