HORA eTec GmbH is a manufacturer of electrotechnical machining parts and components based on various materials such as brass, copper and aluminium. In addition to the production of electrical components, the company offers complete systems for power distribution in the field of electrical components. HORA eTec develops and produces main line branch terminals, phase distribution blocks and terminal blocks for the connection of aluminium and copper conductors in various fields of application such as sub-distribution, electrical charging stations or building installation technology. The company sells the components worldwide via sales partners. Thanks to joint ventures in India and China, HORA eTec covers a wide range of connection parts from a single source for the European market. Founded in 1919, the company is still based in Bünde (East Westphalia). It employs around 110 people in two plants. HORA eTec GmbH is owned by BWK GmbH Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft (90 percent) and CEO Dirk Niestrat (10 percent).
