Who are we? The National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc., Saint Louis Metropolitan Chapter is a non-profit organization founded in 1984. With the acute demand to address the concerns of African-American Women in our community, the Metropolitan Saint Louis Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women was organized by Dr. Freda Witherspoon in 1984. The Metropolitan Saint Louis Chapter of NCBW has kept the vision of Dr. Witherspoon alive by providing education and resource to our community. We have awarded over $45,000 in college scholarships to deserving women, we continue to support and volunteer at the Crisis Nursery and provide mentoring to young girls in our Changed by Design program. How we advocate? Health | Education | Economic Empowerment | Strategic Alliances | Civic Engagement Legislation Supporting Advocacy Agenda Vision & Mission? Our vision is to see black women and girls live in a world where socioeconomic inequity does not exist. Our mission is advocate on behalf of black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment. Our Core Values?
