The Southtown Teachers' Center is a member of the NYS Teacher Resource and Technology Training Center network. One of more than 120 Centers across the State, we purpose to provide high-quality professional development, resources and support services to educators and the community. Our consortium districts include: Frontier Central Schools, Hamburg Central Schools, Randolph Academy Hopevale Campus as well as any non-public schools within the consortium attendance area. Services we offer: -Current and Standards-Aligned Professional Development Courses for Teachers, Aides, Support Staff and Administrators. - STC is an approved site for obtaining the 175 hours of pro-growth required to maintain Professional Certification in NYS. You do not need to be employed in one of our districts to take courses with us. -A wide range of support services such as: copying, laminating, binding and poster printing. -We will customize classroom materials to your specification at no additional cost to the printing. -Free Lending Library and e-library of staff development books. -Free Technology Lending: iPads, laptops, Chromebooks, flip video cameras, camcorders, quizzers, student response units & web cams for conferencing -We can help with non-school related needs such as: invitations, tickets, fundraising flyers, banners, candy bar wrappers and more.
