Fractal Edge Music was founded by composers Mathieu Hallouin and Tim Stoney. Since 2016 Mathieu and Tim have been working together creating and producing music for visual media. Their music has been featured in a number of video game and film trailers such as Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Call of Duty: WWII, Destiny 2, The Mandalorian, Venom, and more. Before meeting each other, Tim and Mathieu had been following different career paths. Tim started working on large-scale video game based concert series’ such as Video Games Live and The Legend of Zelda: 25th Anniversary as a co-arranger and orchestrator. Mathieu had been producing music for different bands up until 2015, and since then has been composing and producing music for a number of Hollywood music publishers and labels for advertising campaigns in film and video game trailers, most notably with Dos Brains. Tim and Mathieu met whilst working on a project with Hollywood publisher, Dos Brains. With memorable themes, familiar atmospheres and often gritty, destructive synths and sound design, they aim to bring a new energy to the video game music industry.
