Backed by the International Finance Corporation and some of the biggest names in the tower Industry, the International Digital Infrastructure Alliance (IDIA) has been created to help the industry articulate the value and requirements of the cellular tower industry to regulators, mobile network operators and other stakeholders as the industry progresses in deploying next generation networks for 5G and the Internet of Things (IoT). The IDIA will provide an initial three-year programme co-ordinating global messaging and profile-building as well as providing practical resources to members.
