Our founder, David Shaffer, started a Christmas morning tradition making candied bacon for his family. As this tradition aged, he started sharing his candied bacon with all of his extended family. Soon after he witnessed everyone’s love for it. It was then that he realized he was on to something big. Shortly thereafter David began to pour his heart and soul into developing recipes and flavors he thought people would enjoy. Through that process, Make’n Bacon Jerky was born.
