Wastebuster is a Community Interest Company (CIC) established to inspire and empower children to take a pro-active approach to waste reduction. We use innovative, video-rich resources that bring waste education to life and demonstrate how change can help us lead more sustainable lives. Wastebuster's waste reduction and recycling resources help essential environmental topics get onto the curriculum so that children adopt good practices and transport these messages home to their families, and out to the entire community. To provide these resources we work with non-for-profit agencies, NGOs and charities, local councils, regional government offices and waste and utility companies. And in partnership with businesses as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility commitments. Currently over 18,000 schools across the UK use our resources to encourage a greater appreciation of the environment, and with proven social, economic and environmental change, our programmes empower children to play a direct and active role in shaping their future.
