IKRAM – The Foundation for Empowerment of Muslim Women is a nonprofit organization concerned with issues affecting the well-being of Muslim women. It recognizes that while women of all faiths, nationalities, and cultures share many common struggles there are certain issues unique to Muslim women in the United States. The Foundation provides educational grants, seminars, workshops, and research for divorced and widowed Muslim women. Education empowers our clients to find better jobs for a more stable source of income, the self-confidence to be independent and empowered, and a stable life for their children. Our mission is to enhance the dignity of Muslim women through fulfillment of their educational goals.
