The Office of Projects Victoria (OPV) was established in September 2016 as an Administrative Office within the Department of Treasury and Finance. OPV plays a key role in overseeing the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects in Victoria. Our purpose is to lead and influence excellence in project delivery to maximise value for all Victorians. Our mission is to be the trusted and independent advisor on project delivery excellence to the Victorian government. We provide advice on the technical scope and cost elements of Victoria's infrastructure program, supporting a strong economy now and for the future. OPV has four key strategic outcomes that we are working towards: 1. Assurance through project portfolio monitoring and oversight; 2. Project system wide improvements including developing the skills and capability that project teams and leaders need to succeed; 3. Improved project outcomes through independent advisory; and 4. Advancing the impact of the engineering profession.
