Women on Wings’ mission is to take families in rural India out of poverty through economic development. Our aim is to co-create one million jobs for women in rural India by 2030, in partnerships with Indian social enterprises that employ rural women. We provide tailor made business knowledge and mentoring to Indian social enterprises that create work for rural women. By scaling their business we co-create more sustainable jobs for women. A job means an income for women and gives them a stronger social position. For their children it means education which increases their chances of a better future. It is thé way to break the cycle of poverty. Alongside our core team in the Netherlands and India, we have a network of highly experienced business professionals - our experts - who share their time and talent with the social enterprises - our partners - in India.
