Throughout Iraq’s turbulent years from 1986 to 2018, Al-Aswar Trading Group Co. has consistently achieved profitability and maintained its status as a leading importer, distributor, and installer of various types of electronics. The company owns 9 showrooms in Baghdad, a four-floor building, and 3 large modern warehouse facilities that make up a total of 3,700 square meters. One showroom in Dubai and an office along with a 2,940 cubic meter warehouse also facilitate Aswar’s business in the region. In China, two warehouses and two offices serve as procurement and logistics centers. However, the company’s true assets are its 110 young and energetic employees, 80 in Iraq, 10 in Dubai, and 20 in China, of whom 60% are engineers.
