The Hong Kong Pride Parade promotes equal rights for and anti-discrimination against the LGBT community. By showing the different faces of our community, it facilitates respect for diversity in the society. When it happens on the busiest streets in Hong Kong, it is the best public education. The Hong Kong Pride Parade is a non-profit making organization. It has created an open platform for LGBT groups and organizations to show themselves to the world and to advocate for diversity and inclusion. The Organizing Committee is founded by 5 LGBT organizations, focus on organizing Hong Kong Pride Parade and is the only host of Pride Parade. There are 9 executive board members managing the organizing committee at present.
