The Political Economy Society (PES) Maastricht was founded in January 2022 to create a community open to all students to promote the necessary understanding of the complex interactions between economics and politics. We connect students with each other, experts, scholars, and best-in-their-field companies. We organise various events, including discussions with experts from the field, scholars, or meeting companies. Students can freely attend our meetings and can become active by joining one of our six committees; - The Regular Activities Committee - The Special Events Committee - The External Relations Committee - The Marketing Committee - The Research Division; - The Maastricht Journal of Politics and Economics Furthermore, as a rapidly developing and growing student organisation, we welcome any student initiative and feedback to further improve our organisation.
