In certain situations, where land is available, there is an opportunity for BGI to plant a biomass crop on the site in order to provide a constant fuel supply going forward. The new generation, premium, multifunctional BIOKOMPAKT biomass boilers have the capability to burn a range of alternative, high calorific and cost effective bio-mass fuels that cannot be burnt in the majority of boilers currently available in the UK.
