anang&ilema Association
www.anangilema.orgThe Anang and Ilema Association is a young non-profit organization that wants to support where the people affected feel the most need: We, Alma Joie Onambele and Céline Jacqueline Zeller from Switzerland and Valentine Mulong Ayeah from Cameroon, met in the summer of 2017 in a project focusing on agriculture and cultural exchange in Cameroon. And since then, despite the great distance, we have maintained close contact. Two years after the joint project, Alma wais plagued by the news from the crisis in Cameroon and Valentine because of the unemployment due to the crisis. Not long after that, the idea to start an own project was born. And today, as much as then, we are motivated and confident. What makes us special: we are a manageable number of employees, we act transparently and we are up close and personal. Valentine on site at the project and Alma, Eleonora, Akos and Céline where all the questions can be asked how everything should work out. Our goal is to work together with the people actively involved. And this is how the first project idea was born. Through discussions with already existing women's groups, we quickly came to the conclusion that the goal must be to support young women in becoming financially self-reliant. And that is what we are successfully doing today!
