Walk-away operation means that once you add your sample to the feed reservoir and vacuum is connected, you can walk away from the concentrator – the device self-primes and terminates permeation automatically, releasing you from having to constantly observe the concentration process. When you return to the device, just disconnect the vacuum and recover the retentate fraction or concentrate into a syringe. Chromassette® Chromassette® devices are chromatography columns in the form of a cassette. It is the first practical modular chromatography platform, offering truly linear scale-up, which until now has been an elusive property desired by anyone practicing chromatography. Chromassette® devices are further characterized by a bed-supporting structure that prevents the compression of chromatographic beads even at high velocities exceeding 1000 cm/hr.
