Lyn asked Rosie what we could do to help. Volunteers, industry professionals and women with lived experience came forward to create Yourtoolkit.com as a response. The web-based solution utilised the benefits of technology to get behind closed doors, where domestic violence occurs, and help those facing domestic violence break the cycle of abuse. — The website prioritises users' safety by collecting minimal cookies and providing ‘quick exit’ pathways so users can quickly redirect their browser if it’s no longer safe to be on Yourtoolkit.com. — The site is broken into four steps to give the simplest, easy-to-access advice to women through their journeys: Prepare – How to increase safety whilst at home and preparing your finances for an independent future (Increase safety and manage finances) Act Now – Search for the services you need when leaving an abusive relationship (Search support services) Rebuild – Get support and keep safe immediately after leaving a violent relationship ( Thrive – Information about money and legal matters for the future In 2022, the brand underwent redevelopment and rebranded with the new ‘Yourtoolkit.com’ name and introduced a new user-friendly website. The reposition reflects the brand's presence as an online hub that connects women to services and information, empowering them to be physically, emotionally & economically secure.
