The Kittson County Highway Department's main objective is the construction and maintenance of county highways & bridges to ensure the safety of the traveling public. Kittson County is 1124 Square Miles of land with 373.26 miles of County State Aid Highways (CSAH), 93.7 miles of the County Roads and 800 miles of Township Roads. It has 80 CSAH/County Bridges, 121 Township Bridges and 1 Municipal Bridge. The Highway Department is also responsible for the inspection and maintenance of portions of the county legal ditch system.
