Reading Dogs is a scheme designed to help children improve their reading skills by reading out loud to specially trained dogs. Dogs of all breeds and sizes have been carefully selected to go in to schools, nurseries and private venues across the UAE. Reading to a dog helps children relax into reading, open up, try harder and have fun reading. Our specially chosen, child-friendly, extremely calm dogs are the perfect reading companions. They don’t judge or correct, they allow children to read at their own pace and they’ve proven to be a calming influence on a class. Reading Dogs is a project delivered and owned by The Animal Agency, the region's only professional agency providing animal models for the media industry in the UAE.
