Straight Talk Foundation Kenya (STFK) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that endeavors to bring about social change through advocacy and behavior change communication, which will result in increased quality of lives and well-being for adolescents and important people in their lives. We produce information, education, and communication (IEC) materials for adolescents. Part of the organization's mandate is to keep its target audience (Kenyan adolescents, aged 10-19, and youths, aged 20-24) updated as far as SRHR issues are concerned and be able to make informed decisions about their health which will ultimately impact positively on the life they lead. We aim is to address most of the challenges affecting the youth while providing a forum for them to interact and discuss these challenges as peers through meaningful youth participation, youth-adult partnership and consultative stakeholder approach to the issues that are priority to young people. The strategies we deploy in implementing our communication include Publications, Social Media, Consultative stakeholder interventions, Multimedia Approaches, Partnerships with champions and volunteers and network with policy makers and government officials.
