Our experience in this industry began back in 1952 when Jack Patten began his formal training as a sign writer at the Brighton College of Art in England. Jack worked his whole life as a sign painter until he bought Bastion Trophies in 1984. That began our family’s introduction into the world of engraving and computer generated signs. The lifetime of knowledge gained from professional sign writing translated well to this industry and the skills of layout and design have been passed along to all of our skilled craftsmen.
