Haute Greeks Couture was founded in 2008 to support the vivacious Black Greek life that’s synonymous with historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs). From there, Marcia developed a vision for more — something much BIGGER in fashion. While making items for divine nine fraternities and sororities, she noticed a scarcity in Black meaningful clothing that once dominated her childhood. Clothing was beginning to lack value, substance, and most importantly CULTURE. From there, Marcia developed a vision for more-something much BIGGER in fashion. She began creating a brand that combined her love for 90s culture with her passion for activism, bold colors, and daring statements that challenge the social constructs within our community.
