We, at The Safe Space Project, are building a safe space for the survivors of sexual assault. This space will function primarily over Whatsapp and Facebook group. These groups are informal spaces where survivors can share, talk, rant, vent and seek peer support. The aim behind these spaces remains to ensure that no one feels alone. However, merely building a safe space doesn’t feel enough. So to make sure that our bases are covered, we’re creating a resource list of Legal Aid Providers and Mental Health Practitioners. The reason behind creating such a list is to ensure that these survivors can reach out to professionals without the fear of being judged, victim blamed or slut shamed.
