Go Health Food was born with the purpose of bringing real Amazon food to the world, combining both health and sustainability. Health because our products are nature-based and highly nutritive. Sustainability because we value those who live in the forest and take care of it for the rest of the population. In other words, it is good for the body, for the soul and for the planet. Where we are from. Our products come from the forests of a region called Calha Norte Paraense, in the northern part of the Amazon River. It is a mega territory that is also called "The World's Largest Forest". It is composed of a mix of conservation units and protected areas occupied by Ribeirinhos (i.e., people settled on the riversides) and Quilombolas (i.e., people from African origins that live in communities called "Quilombos"). These Quilombolas hold a territory of almost one million hectares, with an invaluable productive potential. Our partnership with them for raw-material supply is the way we found to support and fund local bioeconomy. Thus, GHF offers clients a variety of healthy food supplies, ensuring that forests keep standing while also providing ecosystem services for the general society.
